Peer Assessment

 

I did full control on Monday 21\March\2016.  My classmate Miss, Alia Khalifa came to observe me. She observed me in two lessons Math and English.

 

Math:

LOWALT:  identify 3D shapes 

 

English: 

LO: Write sentences using an adjective.

Math

 

 

Good things:

  • I like the way when you sit with one group and focused on them directly.

  • I like the way when you ask them about the 3D shape before you give them the correct answer.  For example, when you ask them when you shoes one 3D shape “ what this one called  ?”

  • I like the way when you tell them to find some things in 3D shape from the class so here you link the lesson with the real life.

  • I like when you said to them the positive word and praise when to give you some answer and some action. For example, when you said (Well Done, Thank you Hessa ) .

  • I like when you use writing skill to tell them to write the names of some 3D shapes and draw.

  • I like when to tell them to say the name of the 3D shape correctly (Sphere)  and repeated the word in a good way .

  • On another term of organizing you use many strategies for example (1,2,3,…) to finish their task and clean . And when you give them points (Dojo!!)

 

Things need to improve:

  • I think you need to give them papers with lines instead A4 papers when they write the name of 3D shape because they are grade one and they need to practice to write in the line .

  •   You need to start the lesson after all the students attention with you .

  • You need to use 3D shape in a big size to show them the difference between them.

Second lesson (English)

 

  • I like when you ask them about the day (TODAY, YESTERDAY, TOMORROW).

  • I like when you ask them about the story (what can you see?) (What does mean?) and during when you reading the story you ask them and give them praise and point .

  •  I like when tell them to clap to the students who answer correctly.

  • I like when you use eye contact to tell them to be quite. 

 

 

 

Things need to improve:

  • I prefer to use a big size of the story when you read to the whole class.

  • The size of the text in the story it was too small.

  • I prefer when you read the story for them use different sound and expressions in your face.

  • Loud you voice when you read.

  • Make sure all students they attention with you before you read because I saw some students in the back they not listen to you.
