literacy lesson
In this lesson, I taught a literacy lesson, the outcome was about interpret how pictures and illustrations evoke the feelings and emotions of the reader. I used Gruffalo story to teach the outcome. Through the story I could teach different things that relate to the outcomes. I made the lesson interested by using game.

On Wednesday, 28\ October \ 2015. I did my English lesson. It was about interpret how pictures and illustrations evoke the feelings and emotions of the reader, the story that we used in those week was Gruffalo. In the opening stage, I showed them PowerPoint that about feeling by seeing animals faces. I used the PowerPoint to explain how they can illustrate evoke the feeling. The PowerPoint was very benefits for the students. They understood how the faces look like depend to their felt.
I had chosen some students to act the characters in the story (to use story stick models\headband). They did what they can but they couldn’t read very well so far so I helped them. I modeled the activities for all the students, I asked them to go to their groups and I chose a leader for each group.
The higher groups need helps because they couldn’t write sentence very well yet. They need English talk cards but I helped them. The two lower groups were very well because their activity was appropriate their levels. In the closing stage, I showed them video and I asked questions during the video, it was very benefit and I assess the students by asking them question during video they understood the lesson and how the animals felt by looking their faces. I liked the last part when I asked the student during the video.
The lesson went well but I faced some barriers that I will take care about in my next lesson such as the higher level could not write full sentences so I have to prepare English talk card and I will use different strategies for classroom management.
