Mathematic lesson
In this lesson, I taught mathematic lesson about Use and describe known facts to add and subtract model, use and describe numeracy strategies to solve addition and subtraction word problems involving numbers up to 2 digits. I was very worried in this day because it was the first lesson that my college mentor would observed me. I used different materials for each level and they were very useful and met the outcome.

Reflection
On Wednesday, 21 October 2015. I did my third math lesson. It was about 2NAS8, use and describe numeracy strategies to solve addition and subtraction. In general, it went well. In the opening, the students were very active and I like when they answered my questions together loudly, I wanted them to answer together and they did. I had a good introduction I told them what we learned before and what we would learn today to connection between the outcomes.
When I modeled the activity, I thought it wasn’t easy for them to understand but when they did the activity they understood. However, they didn’t able to read much yet so it was a bit difficult to them to do the activity although they were the higher group so I scaffolding them. The students in red group as always, they don’t want to do their work and just they want to talk but one of the girl worked hard I always struggle with the group as my teacher do. The big interrupted my lesson was a fire prevention day, when the students came back they were confused of their activity. I retime the timer but I thought it was long for the activity but I gave them worksheet to do. In the closing stage, I had online game, I pick up student and I let him\her to answer and the rest of students help him\her. They love the game and got benefit of it.
The positive things that I used I nice games that engaged the students much and the same time support what they learned. I used two types of puzzles and the puzzle were very nice and easy. All my activities were nice and proper for the grade.
In next lesson, I will reduce time of activity stage but it will be depending of the activity and the subject and I will use other classroom management to make them be calm and work nicely.
